About the artist
The Wandering Band was a series of free, daily performances of vocalists and musicians with portable wind, string, and brass instruments performing their practice of scales, tonal, and finger exercises while strolling along the paths of the High Line. Conceived by artist Ana Prvacki, the Wandering Band was organized in collaboration with Residency Unlimited.

Ana Prvački's work ranges from watercolor to video, performance to mixed reality. She has presented her work at numerous international venues including Gropius Bau, Berlin; de Young Museum, San Francisco; Hammer Museum, Los Angeles; the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Boston; Castello di Rivoli Museo d'Arte Contemporanea Turin, the Los Angeles Philharmonic and group exhibitions such as 13th Gwangju Biennial, the Bangkok Arts Biennale in 2020, 2017 Chicago Architecture Biennial, 14th Istanbul Biennial and dOCUMENTA 13.
