Tiffany Fung

Tiffany Fung

Tiffany Fung is an artist, organizer and cultural worker passionate about the human experience. Through moving images, mixed media and community building, her work attempts to build solidarity with common socio-political struggles, while asking: how do we locate the notion of self(ves) in the context of our shared communities, culture and history? Tiffany often blurs boundaries between everyday life, nature and spirituality - moving between the mundane, profound, mysterious and absurd that define our critical existence within specific moments in time.

Born in Hong Kong & based in New York, Tiffany co-founded CURRENT 川, a platform where she curates exhibitions and public programming to connect Hong Kong artists local and abroad. She received her M.A in Arts Politics from New York University, and a B.A in Sociology with Special Honors from University of Texas at Austin. Past exhibitions and screenings include Both Sides Now: Final Frontier III by Videotage (2016), VAFA International Video Festival (2016) in Macau, The 5th Taiwan International Video Art Exhibition (2016) in Taipei, Fest Miden in Greece (2016), Queens Wharf Block Party in New Zealand (2016), and the Unicef Believe in Zero city-wide campaign (2013). She has been awarded by the Hong Kong Film Art Association and Unicef in Hong Kong.
