Stars Down To Earth is a multi-site exhibition, with artwork at Central Library and programming at the Leonard branch, which is focused on ecological revitalization. Green Series: Make Seed Sculptures with Mary Mattingly
Join artist Mary Mattingly for this Green Series for kids 8 years +. Participants will make their own seed sculptures with seeds from plants that aid in water purification while learning about water remediation techniques. We’ll combine seeds, clay, and healthy compost - these sculptures are perfect for tossing anywhere outdoors! This program is held in partnership with More Art. Join us for a lunchtime presentation followed by a limited registration workshop on socially engaged public art by Micaela Martegani (Executive Director of More Art) and Jeff Kasper (Artist, Assistant Professor at UMass Amherst).
