Visit the Borrowed Light ‘Arts Celebration’ in Sunset Park! Sat. August 15th 2-5

MORE ART will be hosting an Arts Celebration in Sunset Park on-site of the sculpture and sound installation ‘Borrowed Light‘ by artist Sari Carel. The event will be full of dance and performance, with a special musical presentation by ESOL students of Turning Point Brooklyn Education Center led by Sari Carel and composer Eli Keszler. The celebration is free and features the artwork and participation of summer-camp students at PS 169, Sunset Park High School and Center for Family Life Brooklyn, Life Lines Summer Program. Throughout the day there will be music, performances and presentations from the New York Chinese Cultural Center and Son Pecadores – a local live music band, as well as poetry & prose readings by NY Writers Coalition in Sunset Park. Snacks and refreshments provided by Las Conchitas, La Flor de Izucar, Associated Fresh Market, and Steven’s Deli.
