The “Wandering Band” was a free performance of vocalists and musicians armed with portable wind, string, and brass instruments, organized in collaboration with Residency Unlimited. Conceived by artist Ana Prvacki, the Wandering Band artists performed their daily practice of scales, tonal, and finger exercises while strolling along the meandering paths of the High Line.

Multi-media performance artist and sculptor, Ana Prvacki, was born in Serbia. She received her BFA from Pratt Institute, NY; her MA from El Nuevo Proyecto Cibernetico y Ecologico Universitat International de Catalunya, Spain; and her MFA from LaSalle College of the Arts, Singapore. She currently lives and works in Los Angeles, CA and Singapore.
