Abraham Lincoln: Educational Project
More Art is proud to present this ambitious educational program as a direct component of Abraham Lincoln: War projection, a public art installation realized in collaboration with Krzysztof Wodiczko.
Following our long-standing commitment to youth, we have conceived a comprehensive curriculum comprised of six lessons each focusing on a different aspect of the project. This curriculum was specifically designed for 7th and 8th graders and offers flexibility for teachers to adapt their lesson plans to the needs of their classroom. In each lesson, you will find a complete class plan along with links to all the source material necessary to make this experience as enriching as possible.
Most of all, we wish to raise students’ awareness of the complicated yet topical issues surrounding the ideas of war, community, public space and public art.
