about the project.

For The Fantastic Real!  Luca Buvoli instructed the students to create a comic book character that acted as their alter ego or nemesis. Based on this character, the kids produced their own mixed-media 3D comic book. Materials included candy bar wrappers, pipe cleaners, colored wire, aluminum foil, decorative patterned paper, wood veneer, magazine cutouts, and more. Facsimiles are displayed for the public to read.
